Could he be any cuter? With his creamy coat, dark eyes,
and perky, fringy ears, Primo is irresistible.
His past is a mystery—he was discovered hiding in a roadside thicket by a
wonderful, caring motorist who stopped her car and invited the lost boy in. And
then set about finding Primo the help he so clearly needed. A websearch turned
up GRR—and in a few hours we had a game plan. We alerted the shelter that a
stray was coming and made double-dog-sure that GRR’s name was plastered all over
him.
Note’s from Primo’s foster mom: He’s wonderful! Happy, lovable puppy—with
puppy being the operative word! Just needs training. He’s not housebroken yet,
so puppy rules are a must: crate him when you can’t see him and get him on a
potty schedule.He also babygates
with no problem and settles right down without a fuss.
Primo loves tennis balls and enjoys toting around flip-flops & shoes.Gives them up fairly easily, too. Zig-zags around on lead but again,
nothing that training won’t fix.
He has good skills with other dogs and really seems to need them for
security, so I’d say that a home with another sweet dog is a must for him. And
of course he needs people who are active, agile, at home to train him—and who
enjoy Golden teenagers!
