Chevy

Chevy, age 6 months

MATCHED - FOSTER PEND ADOPTION

Update 7/20/12:

Good news! This model is still running fine, all engines still revving!  He still appreciates the occasional pitstop to make sure his pit crew attends to his more basic needs - a little fuel refill goes a long way!

Update 6/8/12:

Meet Chevy. Reviewing the memory stored in his GPS system, we’ve discovered that he was motoring around a busy road in Austin with no clear destination. A subsequent equipment malfunction saw him detouring into the shelter for several hours, but luckily “route recalculation” kicked in just in time, and soon he was pulling into his foster home and parking in a climate-controlled environment – so important for luxury models like this one!

This hybrid vehicle comes with some unique features, non-standard for your usual Golden model. Our veterinary mechanics suggest that a tiny bit of  Aussie Shepherd/Blue Heeler engineering might account for the compact size, tight turning radius, and one blue headlight, er, eye. Chevy gets great mileage (he likes lots of walks) though he occasionally maxes out on RPMs (his puppy energy kicks in). And check out these details!

* Comes with a a great audio system (although it can be a bit sassy at times)

* Custom supersoft “vanilla blond” upholstery

* Automatic seat warmers (actually lap/body warmers - he likes to cuddle)

* Built-in alarm system (occasionally barks at strange noises)

* Lifetime free Roadside Assistance—along the Road of Life, that is (he is lover who will support you every day, even more on the days when you need a little extra loving).

Chevy would be a great second vehicle, as long the resident furry “motorcar” is also a fairly new, late-model type so that they can go out and spin their wheels together (he is a puppy after all!). Though compact, he’s definitely family-friendly and would do best with frequent check-ups throughout the day (he doesn’t like to be alone long). Interested? Call for a test drive!
