♥♥♥♥♥Looking for a Valentine? Forget the roses this year. Daisy is in bloom!♥♥♥♥♥

♥♥♥♥♥Stunning, even-tempered, easygoing, charming redhead is looking for a companion to share long walks, trips to the park, snuggling, and lots of petting. A strong fence is a plus. Got kids or pets? No problem! Must be willing to help me stick to my diet. Experience throwing balls required. I love to have someone brush my thick, beautiful red hair. Okay, honesty is a healthy start to any relationship—I don't need your attention all the time, but when I want it, I confess that I do expect your cooperation! Let's meet so you can see how big my heart is. Be my Valentine, and you'll love me forever.♥♥♥♥♥
Daisy and her son Bruno came to Gold Ribbon Rescue after their owner became ill and could no longer care for them. Bruno has already found his forever home, and now it’s Daisy’s turn. She has a personality sweeter than all the Valentine chocolates in Central Texas! She is friendly with other dogs, but her real passion is people of all sizes—and squeaker balls (put those two together and you have a golden combination). What she loves best of all is a pat on the head & a lap to snuggle on. In addition to being sweet, Daisy is a healthy girl; she just needs some good, regular walks to help her drop a couple of pounds—and then to keep her nice and trim.
A former outdoor dog, Daisy had to adjust to living inside when she first arrived at her foster home, but she has made remarkable progress in just two short weeks. With a little at-home training, she has learned a bunch of new-to-her house manners. Daisy is calm indoors, she’s housebroken and crate trained, and she will stay off the furniture when told. “She's a total love bug,” says her foster mom. “She is happiest when she can warm your feet for you on the couch, but she also loves a good game of fetch and will chase a squeaky ball for as long as you can throw it.” Daisy’s got personality by the box full, as well, and will use her snout to nudge your hand for a pet as she sees fit.
We think that Daisy likely coped with her outdoor life by manufacturing her own entertainment. At our house, that translated to mouthing things (anything and everything, from socks to kids’ toys to tennis balls) and satisfying her intense curiosity by trying to escape the confines of the yard or the house. But fortunately, she’s already learning to manage those habits, no doubt thanks to her strong desire to please you. “She’s a good girl and come a really long way already, and I have no doubt that she is totally trainable,” says her foster mom. “We had to crate train her to keep her out of things at first, but now she’s even trustworthy alone in the house without being crated or baby gated into a room. She is a doll, and we just love her—yes, at first she stole the laundry, but she also stole our hearts!” Meet Daisy and find out a little more about her sweet disposition for yourself. She'll be the best Valentine you ever had.
