Taylee
Pretty Taylee and her brother Tracker came to GRR from an owner who could no longer care for them. Both Goldens are healthy, affectionate, totally housebroken, good car riders—and VERY energetic! For the past 18 months or so they’d been missing out on regular exercise, both mental and physical, so of course whatever attention they got made them highly excited—and they got into the habit of jumping up, as excited young Goldens will do. We are working on teaching them that “four on the floor” is the way to go if you want attention! Taylee’s foster mom says:
Taylee plays well with all the other dogs here. She started out very rowdy and wild in the house, but is calming down. And once she goes to bed at night, she sleeps peacefully until morning. With kids, she is bouncy and silly… might not be the best choice for a household with little ones. She pulls on her leash when we’re out walking, but again, that’s improving. Jumping up is her biggest issue – we’re working on it! She’ll need an active, energetic family to give her lots of exercise and continue with consistent training.
