Karma
It must have been destiny… The little dog was picked up stray, in full blown heat no less. She wasn’t reclaimed. She could have been put to sleep—but she wasn’t, because as soon as her time was up the shelter called GRR and put that wonderful “hold for rescue” placard on her cage. And she could have been expecting—but she wasn’t! And she could have had heartworms—but she didn’t! Yes, instead of all those not-so-good “might haves,” Karma found a much better fate—as a Gold Ribbon Rescue gal in a loving foster home. Her foster mom says:
Just barely past puppyhood, Karma is a beautiful smaller-size Golden. She is a real
sweetheart and sits as still as can be—as long as you're doing the petting! She is crate trained and housebroken. We have a 4-year-old male Golden, and the two dogs have gotten along great with each other from the very start. For such a young girl, little Karma has a wonderfully calm personality (especially compared to our boy dog!). She likes to chew on bones and play with rope toys. She sleeps through the night & doesn’t make a peep. Our three kids (ages 10 to 14) have really enjoyed having her stay with us, and she does really well with them. She’ll make some family the best dog ever—and they’ll be telling the truth when they say, “We really have Good Karma!”
