Moses

A typical bouncy wild-child pup, young Moses was found stray a ways out of town, then shuttled to an Austin-area shelter—and then, 5 days later, zipped off to a GRR vet. He was pretty stressed by all the changes (new places & new faces every time he turned around),  but one thing he knew for sure was that he did NOT want to go back into that darn kennel!  Getting into the car was another scary event. “No way!” thought Moses. “Who knows where I might wind up next?!”… and he promptly turned himself into a boat anchor/bag of cement. Once hoisted in, though, he settled down and did just fine. We decided this nice but anxious fella would benefit from a spell of board & train, and by the time he left the vet’s for “school” (after just a couple of days), he was already starting to calm down.  Time and patience will work wonders, as they always do—and his trainer already reports, “Moses is a real nice dog! He is making improvement getting into his crate. He & his GRR friends Dukie &  Buckley pal around together & play wildly.”
