Remember that ABBA song, “Dancing Queen”?  That’s me!  They were singing about me!  “You are the dancing queen, young and sweet, only 5 or 6…. You can dance; you can jive, having the time of your life, oooh… see that girl…” That’s me!

Yep, I love to dance.  When I see you I won’t jump on you like some other dogs will do.  I’ll perform a dance for you instead.  You ought to see me.  Give me a little space to do my thing so I don’t knock you down by accident.  I am a pretty big girl.  I like to dance before I eat too.  I like to eat so much that I’ll do anything to entertain you.  I get so excited that I can barely contain my dancing feet.

You know what makes me an even better dancer than others?  It’s my giant paws.  These big paws give me great traction and really good balance too.  I have a little extra weight on these bones but I’ll probably be dancing that off in no time.

I can jive too with other dogs, people, and even a cat.  I’m not quite sure what to do with cats yet because they don’t seem to have “the beat” and they tend to run away from me.  But, for my part, I’m happy to dance with anyone. 

One of my other favorite things is being close to my person.  I love to be petted and I love to snuggle.  I want to be close to you all night, and I’ve heard that I sleep like a rock.  So don’t worry about me waking you up in the middle of the night.

I’m not particularly crazy about playing with toys or balls, but I’m sure I could learn.  I like going for walks, and I do OK on a leash.  Of course, I prefer to be free… to dance, of course.  I’m also OK riding in cars, although I prefer to be on solid ground that’s not moving.  Guess why?  To dance!

If I had to sum myself up in 3 words, I’d say I’m outgoing, loving, and….. A DANCING QUEEN!  Want to dance with me?
