Dorado

Dear friends at GRR, Dorado (FMA Bradley #02-46)
made his final visit to the vet yesterday morning, August 06, 2012.
Dorado adopted our family on April 24, 2002. Dorado brightened our lives for the last 10 years
with his unconditional love and affection. He was a dog that
loved everyone and was loved by everyone. His best canine friend
for the last few years was his little sister Noemi, a Chihuahua that
came into our lives as an eight week old pup in January 2006.
They took to each other like burgers and fries, a treat they
occasionally shared along with vanilla ice cream. It was funny as
heck to see them play wrestle due to their difference in size but he was
always careful not to hurt her. Dorado knew to the end that he was loved very
much by the family he adopted and went peacefully to once again run in
tall grass and enjoy a nap under a large shade tree. While we will miss his physical presence,
wonderful wet kisses (large licks on the cheek) , and the nose-nudge at
the dinner table in hopes for a snack, he will always be in our minds
and hearts. I am attaching some photos of Dorado, including
one from many years ago when we attended the GRR picnic at Zilker Park. Thanks again for bringing Dorado into our lives. Armando, Dora, Monica, Mario, and Noemi
