HI ,

We wanted to share Rowdy’s  life since December 2009 when we adopted him. 

Since then, he’s been enrolled in agility and passed the beginner’s course.  He’s a wonderful runner (except for when he sees rabbits on the trail).  He loves visiting his canine and human cousins in Houston. 

Just recently we enrolled him in Level I obedience/Canine Good Citizen Class at Dog Boys Dog Ranch.  Only 1 out of the 4 dog students passed….and Rowdy was the one!!   He is now a Canine Good Citizen. We are so proud of him, and so grateful for GRR matching us up with such a wonderful dog. 

We’ve given him a professional name of Rowfred, but he goes by “Rowdy” to all his friends.   We think Rowfred sounds more sophisticated…j/k!

 

We’re not sure what Rowdy’s next adventure will be, but we’re definitely going to keep up with his training…He has so much fun with it.

 

Attached is a picture of Rowdy at the Frio River.  He had a lot of fun supervising and keeping everybody safe.  He doesn’t swim yet.  But as long as he can see the bottom, he loves being in the water.
