Cooper

Dear GRR,

Our beloved Cooper passed away on January 13th, 2011.  We brought him home July 4th weekend in 2005 and had a great 6 years with him.  He had just turned 12 this past December.

Cooper was such a good boy always smiling and wanting to play.  But in his last three days, he took a big turn for the worse as his lungs filled up with fluid, as he had cancer tumors in his lungs.  The cancer had spread throughout his body.  His cancer first showed up a year and a half ago as he had a large tumor on his liver.  That was successfully removed and the doctor was amazed that the cancer stayed away as long as it did, and we had an amazing year and a half extra to spend with Cooper.  Cooper will be very much missed, by us as well as his GRR sister Bailey, and when the right time comes along, we will adopt another brother for Bailey to play with.  Thank you for matching us up with Cooper and the great 6 years we had with him.
